I'd do a power reset to see if that will solve the problem.
I also tried installing Microsoft FixIt, but he tells me that he has no problem. When I remove the power cord, the lights to scroll the Panel of the printer and the button light goes off momentarily then the light on stays on and will not turn off.
The light on the printer is constantly on when it is attached to the power, I can press the button, so it doesn't seem to be broken, but the light does not turn off.
